Each volume consists of three parts: In the first part, we read the synaxarion of the Saint for each day of the month, the troparion of the Saint, a map, and a timeline, as well as significant historical details of the era of the feast-day Saint.

In the second part of each volume, you will find either a Supplicatory Canon (Paraklesis) or the Salutations (Akathist) of the primary Saint or the feast of the month.

Thus, since in September we celebrate the Universal Exaltation of the Precious Cross, in the second part of the September volume we find the Salutations to the Precious Cross; in October to Saint Demetrios; in November to the Holy Archangels; in December to Saint Nicholas; in January to the Three Holy Hierarchs; in February to the Holy Theodores; in March to the Theotokos; in April to Saint George; in May to Saints Constantine and Helen; in June to the Holy Apostles; in July to the Holy Prophet Elijah the Tishbite; and in the August volume you will find the Small Supplicatory Canon to the Theotokos.

We need just 10-18 minutes to read the Salutations and 15-23 minutes for each Supplicatory Canon. To realize how little time it takes, time your next boring visit to the Internet.

In the third part of each volume, you will find a perpetual calendar with Saints from the entire Orthodox world.
