On September 6, we celebrate the Miracle at Chonae.
Saint Archangel Michael always hastens to the aid of the Orthodox who call upon him. Thus, when fanatical idolaters attempted to destroy a Holy Shrine in Asia Minor, the Holy Archangel prevented the evil.
We have included this miracle in our popular series: "Little and Orthodox" because a similar miracle has occurred in our own family!
On November 8, we celebrate the great feast of the Synaxis, that is to say, the joint feast of all the Holy Bodiless Powers, which was established in the 4th century at the Council of Laodicea; at the same Council, what is today called veganism was also condemned.
