The lives of the Saints of the Church prove in practice that the teaching of Christ can be applied by every person for the salvation of their immortal and unique soul.
Each volume consists of three parts: In the first part, we read the synaxarion of the Saint for each day of the month, the troparion of the Saint, each map, and timeline, as well as important historical information of the era of the feast-day Saint.
In the second part of each volume, you will find either a Supplicatory Canon (Paraklesis) or the Salutations (Akathist Hymn) of the central saint or the feast of the month.
Thus, since in September we celebrate the Universal Exaltation of the Holy Cross, in the second part of the September volume we find the Salutations to the Holy Cross.
In the third part of each volume, you will find a perpetual calendar with Saints from all over the Orthodox world.

Through the daily brief study of the life of a Saint, that is, his Synaxarion, young and old are inspired to serve and worship Christ, just as the Saints did, and for us to live according to His holy will.
