What can we say about the Saint of our hearts?
With this "Little and Orthodox" book, you will easily, pleasantly, and dogmatically correctly introduce the life of the miracle-working saint to your guests.
July 28th.
We wish for your newly enlightened child to live as many years as Saint Eirini of Chrysovalantou lived.
She came from Cappadocia and was from a noble family.
At a very young age, she left for Constantinople to marry Emperor Michael; however, on the way to the City, she visited Elder Ioannikios, who told her that he saw her as a nun in the future. Indeed, the Saint went to the Holy Monastery of Chrysovalantou, where she was soon elected abbess. She lived a very ascetic life.
Christ gave her the gift of working miracles and, whenever it was spiritually beneficial, the ability to foresee the future. She fell asleep in the Lord as a saint at the age of 102.
