Saint Kendeas? But is there such a Saint?

A miracle-working saint known primarily in the Kokkinochoria of Cyprus, so named for the intensely red color of the region's highly fertile soil.
When Saint Kendeas was eighteen years old, he left his homeland, the land of the Alamanni, and went to live in the desert of the Jordan River.
There he lived as a monk together with other monks, praying and keeping a strict fast. One day, he miraculously healed the son of a great lord from an evil spirit that had possessed him.
