Theophano, a name we rarely hear today, a very sweet name, not only of one but of several empresses of the Greek Orthodox Empire, which lasted one thousand one hundred and thirteen years. Of all those who share her name, Saint Theophano inspires us with her exemplary patience and her lifelong devotion to the Savior Christ.
Her love for Saint Anastasia gave us an important monastery in Macedonia, while her entire life is an example for us all, and especially for our daughters.
