Saint Argyrios of Epanomi!
This is one of the "Little and Orthodox" items we created specifically for the baptism of a child from a devout family, specifically the third child of a family that, for the baptisms of all five of their children, has distributed only "Orthodox Favors™".
It was a great joy for us when, in the midst of the pandemic, for the baptism of little Argyroula in Epanomi, her good parents distributed this "Orthodox Favor™" to all their guests.
MAY 11.
Argyrios was born in Epanomi, a beautiful small town near Thessaloniki. It was the year 1788, that is, during the dark years of the Islamic slavery of our Homeland.
Argyrios was a charming and modest child.
When he became about fifteen years old, he left for Thessaloniki to find work and thus help his parents with his daily wages.
