FEBRUARY 12 -
"At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Christ and not the name day of your friend Christos! Saint Christos celebrates on February 12th"
Fr. Athanasios Mytilineos
Saint Christos the Gardener left Epirus and went to Constantinople to find work. There he was slandered, unjustly condemned, and martyred for his faith in Christ. The Life of the Saint teaches us to seek only the Light and the Truth, Christ. He was martyred on February 12, 1748, in Constantinople.
