Saint Cosmas the Aetolian!
His role was unique in the preparation for the Revolution of '21.
With this "Small and Orthodox" [book/guide], let us get to know him together with our children!
Among his many and very important teachings is this one:
"We, who are faithful Orthodox Christians, must always keep the fasts, especially the fast of Wednesday, because on Wednesday Christ was betrayed, and of Friday, because on Friday He was crucified. It is likewise our obligation to keep the Lenten periods, since the Holy Spirit Himself enlightened the Holy Fathers of the Church to establish them, so that we may be able to overcome our passions and tame the body."
