With "My Synaxarion - A Saint for Every Day," the Orthodox family creates memorable moments, learning truly useful things in an enjoyable way!

The lives of the Saints of the Church prove in practice that the teaching of Christ can be applied by every person for the salvation of their immortal and unique soul. In the Northern Hemisphere, July is the middle of summer, and children usually have more time; this provides us with an excellent opportunity to start a new good routine by getting to know Orthodox Saints and the inexhaustible treasures of Orthodox prayer. A basic prerequisite for the continuation of Orthodox Worship is to have priests; without priests, there is no Divine Worship! And an essential and non-negotiable prerequisite for ordination to the diaconate and subsequently to the priesthood is the absolute purity of the man and the future presbytera before the Orthodox Marriage. Thus, in July, it will be good for our children to become acquainted through the Supplicatory Canon to the first Teacher of Purity, Saint Prophet Elijah the Tishbite. |
With daily, brief study of the life of a Saint—that is, their Synaxarion—young and old alike are inspired to serve and worship Christ, just as the Saints did, and to live our lives in accordance with His holy will.
