“My First Orthodox Prayer Book” is the first Orthodox prayer book for young children. Like all Orthodox parents, we needed a prayer book for our younger children; however, we wanted it to contain prayers that would be useful to them for their entire lives. Thus, we created “My First Orthodox Prayer Book,” which contains simple prayers. These prayers are the same prayers that, God willing, the child will use as an Orthodox Christian throughout their life. The illustration is light, yet doctrinally correct, to help them understand, as much as their age allows, the basic elements of the Faith.
