JANUARY 6 -
The Sacrament of Baptism is the first of the mandatory sacraments of our Church, and without it, a person cannot participate in any of the other Church Sacraments, neither the mandatory ones (Chrismation, Holy Eucharist, Repentance-Confession) nor the optional ones (Marriage, Priesthood, Holy Unction).
As a blessed couple who distributed it at their child's baptism says: ''It is the best, most beneficial thing we have distributed at our child's baptism''.
