How often do we glorify and thank the All-Good God for the great blessing of family? How often do we contemplate what a great privilege it is to be a member of an Orthodox family? Do our children recognize the happiness of having their parents? Do mothers recognize the blessing of having their children near them? Saint Sophia of Thrace, a beloved wife and mother of six children, lost both her husband and all six of their children to a great epidemic.
