The firmament of the Church is adorned by many Saints named Theodoros. One of the less well-known is Saint Theodore the Studite. We had heard of him, but we got to know him through the enthusiasm of a then-Cypriot deacon, who wrote his master's thesis on the Saint and transmitted to us his enthusiasm and devotion for the Saint's great struggle, but also for his miraculous intercessions for problems in the abdominal area.
